International contemporary artist Dr. Priya Yabaluri is showing her solo exhibition titled “Simple Living – Unity in Diversity” at Jehangir Art Gallery, Gallery No. 1, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, from 24th March to 30th March 2026.

The exhibition showcases a compelling series of artworks that explore the beauty of simplicity and the harmonious coexistence of diverse cultures. Through expressive forms, vibrant compositions, and layered symbolism, Dr. Yabaluri reflects on the universal human aspiration for peace, unity, and balance in a rapidly evolving world.

A key highlight of the exhibition is the series “Vivayan”, which celebrates everyday life, communities, and the essence of human connection. Drawing inspiration from architecture, nature, and cultural diversity, the artworks invite viewers to contemplate the shared values that bind humanity across geographies and traditions.

Dr. Priya Yabaluri is an international contemporary artist, cultural entrepreneur, and founder of World Art Fair. She is also the founder of the Global First Woman Foundation, an initiative dedicated to empowering women through art and cultural dialogue. She holds a Doctorate in Fine Arts, a Global MBA from Deakin University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on strategic innovation, AI integration, and sustainable business models in the creative economy.

Through her artistic practice, academic research, and cultural initiatives, Dr. Yabaluri continues to bridge art, strategy, and global dialogue—advancing the role of creative industries in sustainable and inclusive development.

Deepak Mandalik, an accomplished actor-director from Indore, has carved a unique journey across theater, film, and entrepreneurship through sheer dedication, creativity, and passion. His artistic foundation was laid in Indore, where he became an integral part of Ankur Natya Shikha, a reputed theater group known for nurturing talent and producing meaningful plays. During his early years, Deepak showcased exceptional skills in writing and direction, winning first prize as a writer-director for three consecutive years—an achievement that set the tone for his future.

Under his association with Ankur Natya Shikha, Deepak contributed to seven highly appreciated plays, earning recognition for both his performances and directorial vision. His work did not go unnoticed. Impressed by his talent and creative instincts, renowned director Manmohan Kishan of Noori encouraged him to move to Mumbai and explore larger opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Taking this advice seriously, Deepak shifted to Mumbai, where he continued to expand his theatrical journey. He actively worked in multiple stage productions such as Saiyon Bhaye Kotwal and Kueyon Ki Chori, collaborating with respected artists like Ishrat Ali and Samay Thakker. These experiences enriched his understanding of performance art and strengthened his presence in the theater circuit.

With a strong base in theater, Deepak gradually transitioned into the world of film and advertising. He joined Jyoti Thakur’s Film Media as an Associate Director, where he dedicated six years honing his skills behind the camera.

During this period, he worked on several high-profile advertisement films, gaining hands-on experience in direction, production, and execution.

He is nominated for most prestigious MOM DAD GOD OF UNIVERSE 2026 AWARD SEASON 3 AS THE GUEST OF HONOUR !

His portfolio includes working with celebrated Bollywood personalities. He was involved in ad campaigns featuring Raveena Tandon for Himani Cold Cream and Juhi Chawla for Weston TV, experiences that not only elevated his professional standing but also refined his creative approach in visual storytelling.

Deepak embraced a bold and inspiring career shift into the food business—drawing inspiration from his roots in Indore, a city known for its rich culinary culture. With a vision to innovate and create something unique food brand.

IKAI, focusing on revolutionizing food products with creativity and authenticity.

Starting from the ground up, Deepak built a food production unit dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative products that blend traditional flavors with modern concepts.

Deepak being a food consultant for a long time today his association with IKAI stands as a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit, offering more than 200 unique food products.

Each product reflects his commitment to excellence, originality, and customer satisfaction.

The brand has grown steadily and is available exclusively at its flagship outlet, attracting food lovers who seek a distinctive culinary experience.

Despite his success in the food industry, Deepak has never distanced himself FROM his artistic roots. He continues to remain deeply connected to theater and is currently planning to bring his popular Marathi play Kueyon Ki Chori to Mumbai audiences soon. In addition, he has a couple of film and television channel projects in the pipeline, signaling an exciting phase ahead in his creative journey.

The inauguration ceremony of the solo exhibition of renowned painter Rupesh Patil “Pristine Harmony – Nature Unveiled Through Wash and Stroke” was held with great enthusiasm at Jehangir Art Gallery. The exhibition was inaugurated by Maharashtra Culture Minister Ashish Shelar. Uran Assembly Constituency MLA Mahesh Baldi was present on the occasion.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by dignitaries from various fields. These included Nitesh Rane (Minister, Port Development, Government of Maharashtra) as well as Mahesh Baldi, Gaurav Dayal (Chairman, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority), Nilesh Khare (Editor-in-Chief – Sakal Media Group, COO – Saam TV), Ajay Saini (Managing Director, GCC Hotel & Club), Surendra Jagtap (Principal, J. K. Fine Art Academy & Design), Ranjit Marathe (Principal, Deoghar College of Art & Design), Prof. Prafulla Satosekar (Professor, Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai) and national and state level award winner, senior art teacher Atul Jagtap were present.

The presence of all these dignitaries added to the splendor of the program.

A special attraction of the event was the unveiling of the first painting from the upcoming series ‘Swarajyasurya’ by painter Rupesh Patil and painter Jitendra Gaikwad. This is the first painting in a series of 21 paintings based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and it vividly depicts the grand procession that took place after Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation.

The exhibition “Pristine Harmony” showcases captivating sunsets, reflections in tranquil ponds, and realistic and sensitive depictions of the emotions of nature. The main features of the exhibition are the use of light and shadow, the variety of colors, and the vivid depiction of rural life.

The exhibition is being held from March 17 to March 23, and is open to all art lovers free of charge from 11 am to 7 pm daily.

Noida: The Brands and Sourcing Leaders Association (BSLA) successfully convened a distinguished gathering of industry leaders, exporters, brand builders, and policy experts at its Leadership Dialogue, a strategic initiative aimed at exploring how India’s apparel, textile, and lifestyle ecosystem can strengthen its global presence at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

The evening was expertly anchored by Master of Ceremonies Alok Saxena, who guided engaging conversations and facilitated meaningful exchanges among panelists and participants. The Leadership Dialogue featured two high-impact panel discussions focused on brand globalization and trade-driven market expansion.

The first panel examined how Indian companies can transition from manufacturing excellence to becoming globally recognized brands. The discussion underscored branding as a powerful tool of cultural and economic soft power, shaping global consumer perception. Panelists emphasized the importance of storytelling, strong design identity, consistent quality, and responsible supply chains in building credible international brands.

Shilpi Tiwari highlighted the evolving sourcing dynamics, stating, “FTAs are reshaping global sourcing strategies. Indian manufacturers who combine compliance, agility, and innovation will remain preferred partners.”

Rohit Joshi pointed to the dual opportunity for India, noting, “India is well-positioned to scale both private label manufacturing and its own brands, with trade advantages accelerating this transformation.”

Dinesh Jain emphasized the strength of India’s home textile sector, saying, “Innovation, sustainability, and strong product development will enable Indian companies to capture a larger global market share.”

Chhatrapati Ranjit Rai highlighted the potential of traditional sectors, stating, “India’s handicrafts and heritage home furnishings have strong appeal in premium global markets, especially with improved trade access.”

Vipin Khaneja, Secretary General of BSLA, underlined the significance of the Global Outreach Summit initiative, stating, “The Global Outreach Summit is designed to position India not just as a sourcing destination, but as a global partner in innovation, design, and sustainable value creation.”
