फ़िल्म अभिनेता पप्पू यादव की धर्मपत्नी निर्दल रेखा यादव को मड़ियाहूं ब्लॉक प्रमुख चुनाव जीतने पर क्षेत्र में खुशी का माहौल है और उनके घर पर उन्हें बधाई देने वालों का तांता लगा हुआ है।

गौरतलब है कि अभिनेता पप्पू यादव की पत्नी निर्दल प्रत्याशी रेखा यादव मड़ियाहूं ब्लॉक प्रमुख पद के लिए हुए वोट में प्रचंड मतों से विजय हासिल की हैं। ब्लॉक प्रमुख बनने पर रेखा यादव के घर पर बधाई देने वालों का तांता लगा हुआ है। ग्रामीण अंचल के तमाम गणमान्य लोग जैसे ग्राम प्रधान, जिला पंचायत सदस्य, उनके बहुत सारे शुभचिंतक, वोटर्स, क्षेत्र के सम्मानित व्यक्ति उन्हें बधाई देने उनके घर पहुंच रहे हैं। रेखा यादव, पप्पू यादव और प्रेम नारायण बाबा द्वार पर सभी आदर सत्कार करते हुए सभी का दिल से आभार और धन्यवाद व्यक्त कर रहे हैं।  बता दें कि ब्लॉक प्रमुख रेखा यादव निर्दल प्रेम नारायण बाबा (जिला पंचायत सदस्य) की भयहु हैं। फ़िल्म अभिनेता पप्पू यादव के बड़े भाई प्रेम नारायण बाबा विधान सभा वार्ड नम्बर 48 से निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़कर 9 हजार वोट से विजयी हुए हैं। वहीं निर्दल रेखा यादव ने 24 वोटों से ब्लॉक प्रमुख के पद के लिए हुए चुनाव में विजय हासिल की है। रेखा यादव के मड़ियाहूं ब्लॉक प्रमुख बनने पर उन्हें हर तरफ से बधाइयाँ मिल रही हैं। वही भी बिना किसी पार्टी से जुड़े निर्दल होते हुए भी उनके घर में यह दोहरी जीत मिली है।

रेखा यादव ने क्षेत्र के तमाम लोगों का शुक्रिया अदा किया और कहा कि यह मड़ियाहूं ब्लॉक के सभी क्षेत्रवासियों और वोटर्स की जीत है। उन्होंने सभी का शुक्रिया अदा किया।

रेखा यादव जैसी समाज सेविका की जीत से क्षेत्र में खुशी का माहौल है। खास कर महिलाएं इस बात से खुश हैं क्योंकि रेखा यादव एक महिला होने के नाते महिलाओं का दुःख दर्द समझती हैं और वह ब्लॉक प्रमुख बनकर महिलाओं की समस्याओं का निदान करने के लिए एकदम उपयुक्त हैं।

विदित हो कि अभिनेता पप्पू यादव की धर्मपत्नी रेखा यादव विगत काफी समय से मड़ियाहूं ब्लॉक के ग्रामीण इलाकों में सबसे मिलती जुलती रही हैं और महिलाओं की परेशानियों को करीब से देखा है, उनके दुःख दर्द को समझती हैं। इसलिए उनके ब्लॉक प्रमुख बनने पर इलाके में खुशी की लहर छाई हुई है और एक उम्मीद का दिया रोशन होता हुआ नजर आ रहा है।

The difficulties that she faced juggling between her business and the pageant was completing the tasks before the deadline and handling work pressure.It became a little hectic for her but pushed herself to complete everything before the deadline and head for the pageant.
When asked about her biggest goal in life, she answered that- “it is to learn more as I feel that learning is an unending process.I wish to be a famous Bollywood star.” She finds Aishwarya Rai Bacchan as her inspiration.Furthermore she wishes to represent her country India in a big way & be known for bringing achievements into the country.
As an entrepreneur,she plans to expand her business through which she can generate more employment opportunities for the people in the society. She believes that this way every house will have an earning member & they can all be fed.
When asked about her dream with the title she said-
“I wish towards the upliftment of the girls, specifically from the rural areas of West Bengal, by bringing about self generation employment and career opportunities, through West Bengal Diva pageant grooming academy. ” Her plans for India are-” to begin an online grooming and language academy through which every woman can educate herself and do things for herself on her own.

भारत ने मुझे नई कहानियां दी और कनाडा ने मुझे व्यक्त करने की आजादी: फिल्म निर्माता दीपा मेहता

9 फरवरी 2021, कोलकाता :  कोलकाता की सुप्रसिद्ध सामाजिक संस्था ‘प्रभा खेतान फाउंडेशन’ द्वारा आयोजित और श्री सीमेंट द्वारा प्रस्तुत ‘एक मुलाकात विशेष’ के ऑनलाइन सत्र को वर्चुअली संबोधित करते हुए फिल्म निर्माता दीपा मेहता ने कहा, मेरे जीवन में भारतीय सिनेमा के प्रति मेरा लगाव हमेशा से काफी ज्यादा रहा है। जब मैं एक एनआरआई नागरिक बन गयी, तब मै भारतीय सिनेमा में काफी ग्राउंडेड भी हो गयी थी। क्योंकि मुझे लगता है कि भारत मुझे अगर नई कहानियां देता है, तो कनाडा मुझे उन्हें व्यक्त करने की आजादी प्रदान करता है।

दिल्ली की अहसास वुमन की सदस्य अर्चना डालमिया के एक सवाल के जवाब में कि, ‘एक एनआरआई के रूप में आप भारतीयता पर अपने फिल्म निर्माण को कैसे ढाल रही हैं?’ का वह जवाब दे देते हुए दीपा मेहता ने कहा, मैं एक अनिच्छुक कनाडाई नागरिक बन चुकी थी, तब लंबे समय तक मुझे भारत से बाहर रहना पड़ा था। इस दौरान भारत को मैने काफी मिस किया। घर को वास्तव में सुरक्षा के लिए परिभाषित किया जाता है और अगर मैं भारत में खुद को सुरक्षित महसूस नहीं करती तो यह मेरा घर नहीं कहला सकता है। मैं एक अलग तरह की एनआरआई हूं।

‘एक मुलाकात विशेष’ कार्यक्रम के इस ऑनलाइन सत्र की शुरूआत अहमदाबाद अहसास की महिला शाखा की तरफ से प्रियांशी पटेल ने किया।

दीपा मेहता, जो अपनी फिल्म ‘फायर’ के लिए काफी विवादों के घेरे में आयी थी, इसके लिए उन्हें काफी नाराजगी का सामना करना पड़ा था। इसके बाद भारत में उन्हें अपनी अगली आनेवाली फिल्म ‘वाटर’ के प्रोडक्शन को बंद करना पड़ा था।

दीपा मेहता का काम निडर और उत्तेजक भरा है, जो रूढ़िवादी विचारधारा को हमेशा चुनौती देता है। उन्होंने हाल ही में नेटफ्लिक्स ओरिजिनल सीरीज़ और लीला के लिए पायलट का दूसरा एपिसोड शूट किया। वह इस शो की रचनात्मक कार्यकारी निर्माता भी हैं। उन्होंने एप्पल टीवी के लिए लिटिल अमेरिका के पायलट एपिसोड-‘द मैनेजर’ का भी निर्देशन किया। दीपा की फिल्म ‘मिडनाइट्स चिल्ड्रन’ को श्रीलंका में शूट किया गया था। उनकी नवीनतम फीचर फिल्म ‘फन्नी बॉय’, श्याम सेल्वादुरई द्वारा लिखित पुरस्कार विजेता उपन्यास पर आधारित है, जिसे द्वीप राष्ट्र में भी शूट किया जा रहा है।

दीपा ने कहा, अब श्रीलंका के लिए मेरा प्यार बढ़ने लगा, क्योंकि भारत में उसे पसंद नहीं किया जा रहा था जो मैं करना चाहती थी।

जीवन में सिनेमा के प्रति उनके लगाव की शुरुआत कैसे हुई? इस सवाल के जवाब में दीपा ने कहा, सिनेमा के लिए मेरा जुनून तब शुरू हुआ जब मैं छह साल की थी। मेरे पिता के पास पंजाब और अमृतसर में एक सिनेमा हॉल और फिल्म प्रोडक्शन कंपनी थी। स्कूल के बाद हमें पिताजी के पास जाना पड़ता था। वहां जाने के बाद उनका इंतजार करने के लिए उन्हें कई बार मूवी थियेटर में घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ता था। इस दौरान मैंने फिल्म ममता को लगभग अस्सी बार छोटे-छोटे हिस्सों में देखा, जिसके बाद मुझे उससे प्यार हो गया। मैंने फिर अपने पिता से पूछा- यह कैसे होता है? इसपर वह मुझे निर्माण कक्ष में ले गये और मुझे दिखाया कि फिल्म कैसे बनती है, फिर हम गलियारे से नीचे उतरे। मेरे पिता ने मुझे वह स्क्रीन महसूस कराया जो कपड़े का एक टुकड़ा था, उस समय मुझे महसूस हुआ कि पूरी बात जादुई है। ऐसा कुछ जिसे मैं महसूस कर सकती थी, इसके वर्णों को स्पर्श कर सकती थी। मुझमें ऐसी भावनाएँ पैदा होने लगी जो मुझे रोमांचित भी करने लगी थी। मुझे तब लगने लगा कि राज कपूर अद्भुत व्यक्तित्व थे। मैंने उनकी फिल्म ‘श्री 420’ को 20 बार देखा। एक और बहुत ही अलग फिल्म ‘जागते रहो’ जो मुझे एक बहुत ही अच्छी और प्रेरणादायक फिल्म लगी थी। कुछ बांग्ला फिल्म निर्माताओं की फिल्मों ने भी हमे काफी प्रभावित किया। मै सत्यजीत रे और ऋत्विक घटक द्वारा निर्मित फिल्मों को काफी पसंद करने लगी थी। रे मेरे हीरो बन गए थे, आज तक मुझे लगता है कि चारूलता एक ऐसी फिल्म है जिसने मुझे हमेशा प्रेरित किया है। जब मैं महिलाओं पर फिल्म बनाती हूं, तो मुझे इससे काफी प्रेरणा मिलती है। वर्तमान में, नए फिल्म निर्माता और निर्देशक के तौर पर अनुभव सिन्हा, अनुराग कश्यप, विक्रम मोटवानी और ऑस्कर नामांकित फिल्म निर्माता दीपा मेहता मेरे लिए प्रशंसनीय हैं। जो 50 के दशक के सत्यजीत रे, विटोरियो डी सिका, यासुजिरो ओजू के मानवीय सिनेमा से प्रेरणा लेते हैं। उन्हें लगता है कि इन निर्माताओं की मानवता, करुणा और जुनून से भरी फिल्में इस विभाजनकारी दुनिया में हमारे रक्षक हैं।

हमारे निजी जीवन के लिए घातक बन रहे सोशल मीडिया पर दीपा ने कहा, यह काफी शक्तिशाली और विनाशकारी उपकरण है। मुझे लगता है कि जिस प्रकार कारवां आगे बढ़ता रहता है, और कुत्ते भौंकते रहते हैं। ठीक इसी प्रकार यह अति खतरनाक है।

आपको क्या लगता है कि 2030 में फिल्म इंडस्ट्री कहां तक और किस उंचाई तक पहुंचेगी? क्या हम कभी सिनेमाघरों में वापस जाएंगे?

जवाब में दीपा ने कहा, स्ट्रीमिंग ने फिल्मों को देखने के तरीके को पूरी तरह से बदल दिया है। मुझे आशा है कि यह जल्द नया रूप लेगा, क्योंकि मेरे लिए सिनेमा देखने के लिए एक पवित्र जगह में जाने जैसा है, जहां आप किसी चीज से परेशान नहीं होते हैं। इन्हीं विशेषताओं के कारण इतने लंबे समय तक सिनेमा जगत जीवित है। इसी तरह से नाट्य शास्त्र भी है, जो वर्षों से जीवंत है। 2030 के दशक में भी सिनेमा और नाटक मौजूद रहेंगे, क्योंकि सिनेमा एवं नाटकों के बिना जीवन वास्तव में उबाऊ है। दीपा कहती है, वह महसूस करती हैं कि उनकी हर फिल्म उनके लिए उनकी किस्मत है।

One of the biggest events of this year, Mrs India Inc presents Mrs India World 2020-2021 , powered by the Deltin, Daman, was held on January 23, 2021 at The Deltin, Daman. Mrs. Navdeep Kaur was crowned the winner and will represent India at Mrs World 2020, followed by Anupreet Kaur as 1st runner up and Shruti Chauhan as 2nd runner up.  She was adjudged the winner by competing against 61 participants, from all parts of India.

The participants went through multiple rounds that allowed them to showcase their talents to an eminent panel comprising pageant director Mohini Sharma, Presider Soha Ali Khan, Charity ambassador Vivek Oberoi, Mrs World 2020 Caroline Jurie and Couture Designer Masumi Mewawalla.

Speaking of her experience with Mrs India 2021, pageant director and former winner of Mrs India Mohini Sharma, said, “With Mrs India, we are on a mission to identify the unseen potential possessed by women. Our amazing panel members are achievers in their right and have served as an inspiration to our Queens. Soha Ali Khan is a wonderful actress, a fantastic mom and a lovely person of royal lineage. I think her humility, despite her achievements is quite inspiring. Vivek Oberoi’s passion for bringing about change in the society is infectious. Caroline Jurie, Mrs World 2020, has lent a lot of insight, being a winner at a global level. Mrs India Inc is, not just a beauty pageant, but a journey of transformation and self-growth. 21 January 2021, Kolkata: “I won’t join politics as I can’t change my own personality for politics. I didn’t join politics because I had learnt that it was not possible to air an opinion contrasting with the party chief. I don’t want to curb my own, natural way of thinking,” said India’s first World Cup winning captain, Kapil Dev, at a session of Ek Mulakat Visesh organized by Prabha Khaitan Foundation of Kolkata and presented by Shree Cement. The lively session was introduced by Ruhi Syal in which the ace cricketer was in conversation with Archana Dalmia of Ehsaas Woman of Delhi with hundreds of guests joining in from all over India.

“Winning or losing an election is different as long as I have an opinion of my own. I would even stand with the opposition if my opinion matches with it. That’s the way politics is in my mind,” Kapil Dev said.

Kapil Dev who has played cameos in films over the years feels like politics, acting isn’t his cup of tea, “My mother had said I should never do anything other than sports as I do not have a good appearance. So I never tried acting. I haven’t acted in a cameo but just played the Kapil Dev role to make a movie better and look authentic.”

Regarding a forthcoming biopic in which Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone would portray him and his wife Romi, the former Indian cricket captain said, “The film is on the 1983 Indian cricket team that won the World Cup. The film is about the journey of India’s World Cup win. The makers are going to show both good and bad experiences of that journey.”

When asked – “Was winning the World Cup in 1983 still the most defining moment of your life?”

Kapil Dev said, “Not at all. I don’t think so. The most important moment is still the day when I was born and the second most important day was when I played for India first. To me, as a kid, the most important was to represent the country. That was the best time of my life.”

Commenting on India’s changing sporting scenario Kapil Dev said, “Cricket is not only about the World Cup. It is about people like Dhoni, myself, Harbhajan Singh or Zaheer Khan who came from very small towns. Thirty years ago cricketers hardly used to come from small towns or tier two or tier three cities.  Now 90 per cent of the cricketers come from semi-metro cities and towns. In twenty years from now, I am sure lots of cricketers will come out from very small towns, may be from villages because sports have gone to all across India. Now Natarajan (T Natarajan), the bowler who is playing for India, is the son of a mother who runs a tea stall and a father who is working as a coolie. He is playing for India! That’s the change that sports have brought to this country.”

As a role model for young and budding cricketers, Kapil Dev said, “No, I think role models keep on changing from time to time. The role models of today’s generation are Yuvraj Singh, Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly. Maybe after 10 years, the role models would probably be Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan because every generation keeps on changing. Thirty years later, the kids won’t know so many cricketers who have played in my time.”

Responding to a question by Archana Dalmia, “You had no social media in your time. Do you think it was a blessing or a curse?” Kapil Dev said, “I think both. I will only ask people to use this medium for betterment. We should try to share good news on social media and be proud of those because at the end of the day, knowledge is strength. Technology, if it is taken in the right spirit, is wonderful, otherwise it can be devastating.”

What makes the legend happy? “Give me fresh food, good friends, a game of golf and I am happy. I like to make my life very simple and look for happiness within myself,” he said. Kapil Dev would also, apart from his family, like to have dinner with personalities like Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa and Ratan Tata “who have done wonderful things in life.”
