Mumbai: Apna Purvanchal Mahasangh, a prominent organization representing the voice and identity of people from Purvanchal across the country, successfully held its National Executive Committee Meeting for the year 2026 on January 4, 2026, at the prestigious The Presidency Radio Club, Arthur Bunder Road, Colaba, Mumbai. The meeting was conducted in a dignified and disciplined atmosphere.

समस्त महाजन ने इस साल फरवरी में पहली बार मुंबई में ‘एनिमल हॉस्पिटल ओन व्हील्स’ की अनोखी सुविधा से बीमार घायल मूक जीवो को चिकित्सा सेवा देने के मामले में अद्भुद उदाहरण पेश किया. अब ये सेवा और भी असरकारक रूप में ग्यारह नई एम्बुलेंस के साथ पुरे शहर में चोबीस घंटे मिलने वाली है. , माननीय गवर्नर श्री भगत सिंह कोशियारी जी के शुभ हाथो से ११ नई एम्बुलेंस  को ग्रीन झंडी दिखाई गयी , उनका लोकार्पर्ण महाराष्ट्र के माननीय गवर्नर श्री भगत सिंह कोश्यारी जी  के शुभ हाथो से उनके आधिकारिक निवासस्थान राजभवन पर आज सुबह दस बजे हुआ ।

एक बार  ऋषि तपस्या कर रहे ठये एक एक लड़खड़ाता हुआ कबूतर उनकी गोद में आ बैठा पीछे शिकारी था बोलै ये मेरा भोजन है ऋषि बोलै में इसको नहीं मरने दूंगा , शिकारी बोलै ठिक है इसका जितना वजन है उतना तुम्हारे शरीर का मांस दे दो , महात्मा ने अपने शरीर के हिस्से को काट कर माप किया तो कबूतर का वजन बढ़ता ही गया महात्मा भी अपना मांस देने लगे इतने में शिकारी के रूप भगवन प्रकट हुए तो सेवा और जिव दया का महत्त्व है, ऐसे कई उदहारण है अपने देश में , तो में समस्त महाजन और टृष्टि परेश शाह और गिरीश भाई शाह  और  आप सबकी सेवा से प्रसन्न होकर आपको प्रणाम करता हूँ”

गिरीश भाई कहेते है, “कुदरत की व्यवस्था में मानव, मूक जिव और वनस्पति सभी का विशेष महत्व है. हमारी संस्कृति और शास्त्रों ने ये तथ्य विज्ञान से पहेले ही सिद्ध कीया है. समस्त महाजन के उपक्रम से हमें जब और जहाँ एक या दूसरे रूप से इनमे से किसी को भी सहायरूप होने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हो उसे मैं परमात्मा की कृपा और मेरे मानवजीवन की सार्थकता मानता हूँ. ”

“ अब एम्बुलेंस की संख्या ग्यारह होने से मुंबई मेट्रोपोलिटन रीजन के किसी भी कोने में मूक जीवो के लिए उपचार तात्कालिक उपलब्ध हो सकेगा. इस उदेश्य को पूरा करने के लिए हम मुंबई को ग्यारह विभाग में बांटकर हर विभाग में एक एक अम्ब्युलन्स तैनात करेंगे. इस वजह पशुओ का तुरंत इलाज हो पायेगा.”

Samast Mahajan, for the first time in February this year, set a wonderful example to Sid the voiceless in the city of Mumbai, providing medical care to sick and injured animals with  Animal Hospital on Wheels. Now this service is going to be available round the clock with 11 new ambulances, covering  more area and helping far more animals. 11 new such ambulances were inaugurated at the hands of Hon Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan.

This  service is being implemented by the grace and inspiration of Rashtrasant Pujya Namramuni Maharaj Saheb, besides Hon Governor  Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Union Animal Husbandry Minister Parshottam Rupala, Maharashtra’s Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha and Hon Minister of Revenue Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil. Hon Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari  said, “Yug Pradhan Acharya Panyas Chandrashekhar Vijayji inspired all Mahajans and Rashtrasant Pujya Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb with his grace, compassion and cooperation. The importance of service and humanity is prime. When one takes service as  his mantra, then the country is truly free. It is a fact that  even when we speak, many small living creatures die. That is why Jain monks used to wear masks since centuries. Corona taught the rest of the world to wear masks.”

Citing an example the Hon Governor  “Once a sage was doing penance,  when an injured  pigeon fell on his lap.  A hunter who struck it said.  “this is my food.” The sage said he will not let it die, and offered as much of his body’s flesh as the weight of the pigeon in exchange.  When the Mahatma cut his flesh, and weighed it, the weight of the pigeon kept on increasing. Undaunted, the Mahatma also started adding his meat. God then trevealed how he appeared in the form of a hunter, and blessed him.  Service and compassion are very  important. I bow to you all Mahajans and trustees Paresh Shah and Girish Bhai Shah. We are all very happy with your service.”

Added Girish Bhai, “Humans, animals and nature  have special importance in this world. Our culture and scriptures have proved this fact before Science reiterates it. Whenever and wherever we get the privilege of helping the voiceless in one form or another, I consider it to be the grace of God and the true meaning of my human life.

“Now with the number of ambulances being 11, treatment for animals will be available immediately in any corner of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. United Sikhs seek commitment from NYPD Hate Crime Task Force to curb rising hate crime against Sikhs.

New York, Sep 19, 2022 – United Sikhs team is going to meet New York state authorities to seek their commitment for a solution to stop the rising incidents of hate crime against Sikhs in the state.

Members of the organization visited a New Jersey resident Balwinder Singh, who was racially abused last month on the way back from New York. A stranger asked him to get out of his truck. He stepped out of the vehicle, assuming that the person needed some help, but the man started attacking him, referring to him as, “You are Bin Laden” and yelling, “Go back to your country”. “He then beat me and broke my jaw and teeth. I was shocked and helpless, bleeding profusely until the NYPD arrived and took me to a hospital,” Balwinder said.

Earlier this month, on September 7, an 82-year-old Sikh was beaten in New York while on his routine evening walk. In July, a 31-year-old Sikh was shot dead in his SUV. In April, a 71-year-old Nirmal Singh was attacked in Richmond Hill, and the assailant attacked two more Sikhs later.

Anti-Sikh hate crime in the US has been on the rise in the last few years. FBI data shows that anti-Sikh hate crime incidents increased by 82%, from 49 to 89, from 2019 to 2020. The increase in violence against the Sikhs is hurting our community across the US.

United Sikhs team members are going to meet with the authorities in New York to seek investigation and prosecution, in the case of Balwinder Singh, as hate crimes are based on nationality or appearance. They would seek from the authorities including the Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes (OPHC) and NYPD Hate Crime Task Force to commit to finding a proactive solution to the problem of the rising pattern of hate crime and biases against the Sikhs community.

“While progress has been seen on legislative fronts in the last year, we are afraid that a deeply ingrained cultural and psychological bias against people, who don’t look like or dress like others requires a proactive policy, intercultural interactions, formal and informal training at different levels,” said Manvinder Singh, Advocacy Director, International Civil & Human Rights Advocacy (ICHRA). “The Sikh American contribution to the US culture, economy, and politics deserve attention in a way that effectively addresses the increasing hate crimes,” Dr. Henok Gabisa, United Sikhs Advocacy Director said.

“Not just Sikhs, members of all communities should feel safe and no one should be racially targeted. As a humanitarian and advocacy organization, we have been taking a multi-pronged approach to address these issues, so that people of any faith can reach out to us in case of racial abuse. As hate incidents against Sikhs in the US have spiked in recent times, our legal teams are seeking a commitment from concerned authorities and working with them to find a solution,” Gurpreet Singh, CEO of United Sikhs said.
