International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on the 8th of March every year around the world. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. After women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia in 1917, March 8 was predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries until it was adopted by the feminist movement in about 1967. The United Nations began celebrating the day in 1977.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2025, the Progressive Foundation of Human Rights (PFHR) organised a National Convention on the theme of the International Day – “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment” at Hotel Citizen, Juhu, Mumbai, wherein renowned personalities of the country and representatives from 28 states participated. This National Convention is being organised by Progressive Foundation of Human Rights for the last 19 years.
“Let us celebrate the birth of the girl child. We should be equally proud of our daughters. I urge you to sow five plants when your daughter is born to celebrate the occasion,” said honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Women are underprivileged in different ways in different societies. The causes of suppression of women — social, economic and political — are deep within not only Indian culture, but many cultures throughout the world. Violations of human rights of women have varied manifestations.
The majority of crimes against women under the Indian penal code were cruelty by husband or his relatives (31.4 per cent) followed by kidnapping and abduction of women (19.2 per cent), assault on women with intent to outrage her modesty (18.7per cent) ,and rape (7.1per cent),the NCRB stated. It is high time that the society at large wake up and understand that it can’t survive without respecting women and no society can be called a civilised society if it disrespects the womenfolk.
The program was presided over by President of Progressive Foundation of Human Rights and Actor Shri Rakesh Pandey.
PFHR is registered with NITI AAYOG & Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India and has organised numerous Seminars, Conventions and Conferences on all the occasions concerning the society at large in all States and UT’s ever since its inception in 2006. Through IAWA NGO, she has championed causes related to mental health, women’s empowerment, education, and social welfare. IAWA NGO has also set a world record by organizing the longest conclave on cancer awareness, lasting for 12 continuous hours. Participants from 20 countries came together to share their insights and perspectives on cancer awareness, making it a truly global initiative.

In addition to promoting mental health awareness, IAWA NGO will also felicitate successful multitasking women as ‘Women of Substance’ in recognition of their resilience, dedication, and outstanding contributions to society. मिका सिंह ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए बताया कि लीजेंड्स कभी नहीं मरते, वे हमेशा हमारे दिलों में जिंदा रहते हैं। लता दीदी भी एक ऐसी ही लीजेंड थीं, उन्हें ट्रिब्यूट पेश करने के लिए इस बेहतरीन प्रोग्राम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें सोनू भाई (सोनू निगम) भी आए हुए थे और भी बहुत सारे लोग आए। लता मंगेशकर गायकी की एक यूनिवर्सिटी, एक समुन्द्र थीं, उनके गीत गाना काफी मुश्किल होता है। मैंने यहां स्टेज पर उनका एक गीत गाया “बांहों में चले आओ”।

वहीँ 50 म्युजिशियनों के साथ गरिमामयी ऑडिटोरियम शंमुखानंद में “डुएट ऑफ़ आशा भोंसले” कार्यक्रम में परफॉर्म किया। इसके साथ ही मुम्बई के प्रतिष्ठित इस्कॉन टेम्पल में लीजेंड म्यूज़िक डायरेक्टर उषा खन्ना जी के 50 वीं गोल्डन ईयर म्यूज़िकल जर्नी प्रोग्राम में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। वहीँ एजकॉन ग्लोबल ग्रुप ने गौरवपूर्ण नेहरू सेंटर वर्ली सीफेस में “चिंतन बाकीवाला नाइट” का आयोजन किया तो वहीँ जैन समाज के प्रतिष्ठित और बॉलीवुड में पारिवारिक फिल्मों को बनाने के लिए मशहूर बड़जात्या परिवार, राजश्री प्रोडक्शन प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के सम्मान में अभी हाल ही में रविन्द्र नाट्य मंदिर, प्रभा देवी में चिंतन ने सबके दिलों पर अपनी छाप छोड़ी।

महिला दिवस पर पटना में नेशनल गायनॉलोजी कॉन्फ्रेंस में परफॉर्म किया तो इंदौर में दो बार आयोजित ख्यातिप्राप्त ब्रिलिएंट कन्वेंशन सेंटर में हुई ऑल इंडिया डॉक्टर निओकोन और पेडीकॉन कॉन्फ्रेंस में एक्सक्ल्यूसिव परफॉर्म किया। इसके साथ ही इंदौर के जाने-माने रविन्द्र नाट्य गृह ऑडिटोरियम में किशोर कुमार को दी गई श्रद्धांजलि “क्या यही प्यार है” में अपनी सुरमई आवाज़ से भावभीनी श्रधांजलि अपने प्रिय किशोर दा को दी । गोवा में कला अकेडमी पणजी में किशोर दा के तराने से समां बाँधा तो जीवन वीमा निगम की नेशनल एनुएल कॉन्फ्रेंस में एक्सक्ल्यूसिव परमफॉर्म किया। साथ ही इंटरनेशनल लायंस क्लब के “शताब्दी समारोह” में आपने एक्सक्ल्यूसिव परफॉर्म किया ।
हाल ही में लोकप्रिय न्यूज़ पब्लिकेशन दबंग दुनिया ग्रुप द्वारा आयोजित ऑटो एक्सपो में “गेस्ट ऑफ़ ऑनर” मिला।

चिंतन की खासियत है कि आप अपने हर प्रोग्राम का आगाज़ महामंत्र णमोकार मन्त्र से करते हैं । आपने मशहूर प्लेबैक सिंगर्स अलका याग्निक, शान, सुनिधि चौहान, कविता कृष्णमूर्ति, अनुराधा पोरवाल, साधना सरगम के साथ अपनी आवाज़ दी है। आपने गुजराती फिल्म चाणक्य नी छेली चाल, बंगाली फिल्म रहमत अली में श्री मिथुन चक्रवर्ती के लिए प्ले बैक किया है। आपने श्री बप्पी दा के निर्देशन में हिंदी फिल्म लश्कर में सुनीधि चौहान और रॉकी द स्लेव में अलका याग्निक के साथ अपनी आवाज़ दी है। साथ ही महान संगीतकार स्व. रविन्द्र जी जैन के निर्देशन में सिंगर शान के साथ टेलीसीरियल रियलिटी शो द परफॉर्मर के लिए भी गाया है। सुरेंद्र बचन के संगीत निर्देशन में बाबू सिंह मान और साधना सरगम और ऋचा शर्मा के साथ बंगाली व् पंजाबी फिल्म के लिए अपनी आवाज़ दी है।
प्रसिद्ध गायिका कविता कृष्णमूर्ति के साथ आचार्यश्री विद्यासागर जी महाराज को समर्पित भजन” एक नाम साचा एक नाम प्यारा…….ले-ले गुरु का अब तू सहारा…..तेरे चरणों में हम सब का नमन है……विद्यासागर है नाम तिहारा….” गाया जो यूट्यूब पर उपलब्ध है ।
इसके साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी और आचार्य श्री विद्या सागर जी महाराज की प्रेरणा से मातृ भाषा हिंदी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए “करुणा की भाषा, हिंदी भारत की भाषा” सीडी एलबम लांच हुआ जिसमें ऐलक सिद्धान्त सागर जी महाराज द्वारा रचित गीत हैं जो चिंतन ने अपनी आवाज़ में खूबसूरती से पिरोये हैं । इन गीतों की सीडी का विमोचन कुंडलपुर में आचार्य श्री विद्या सागर जी महाराज द्वारा किया गया । इसके बाद केंद्रीय पर्यटन और सांस्कृतिक मंत्री डॉ. महेश शर्मा ने इस सीडी का विमोचन किया ।
चिंतन का मेश अप सॉन्ग “सुन मेरे हमसफर, क्या तुजे इतनी सी है खबर…” युवाओं के बीच यूट्यूब पर धूम मचा रहा है। वहीं 2016 में चिंतन के प्रोजेक्ट अलॉय के तहत खुद का एलबम “हमें तुमसे प्यार कितना” लांच हुआ जिसे चिंतन के फैंस जबर्दस्त पसंद कर रहे हैं। इसमें चिंतन ने एवरग्रीन सांग “हमें तुमसे प्यार कितना” गाया जिसमें उम्दा शास्त्रीय गायक गौतम काले जी ने शास्त्रीय राग पेश कर साथ निभाया। इस एलबम का दूसरा वर्ज़न भी यूट्यूब पर आ चुका है जो संगीत प्रेमियों के बीच धूम मचा रहा है।

आप न केवल पैदाइशी गायक है साथ ही एक अच्छे अदाकार भी हैं । आपने अदाकारी में भी अपना लौहा मनवाया है । भोजपुरी फिल्म विजयतिलक में आपकी अदाकारी और गायकी को दर्शकों का अच्छा प्रतिसाद मिला है । फेमस डायरेक्टर नागेश कुकनूर ने अपनी भावी फिल्म “किशोर दा” के लिए चिंतन को साइन किया है । वहीँ डायरेक्टर मुस्तफा इंजीनियर ने अपनी आने वाली फिल्म “ये इश्क़ क़यामत है” और “देवलता” के लिए चिंतन को साइन किया है ।
