The Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) have collaborated with each other for the fulfilment of their respective aims and objectives by signing a MoU on 26th February at 3 pm at the office of CINTAA in Andheri.

As per the agreement, ICMEI will provide office space to CINTAA at their premises located at Marwah Studio, FC- 14/15, Film City, Sector 16 A, Noida 201301 to carry on its activities in the Delhi NCR and North India region.

CINTAA on its part will provide work permit cards to the diploma and degree holders in acting of Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) and AAFT University on payment of applicable admission fee and annual charges.

Says Amit Behl, Hon General Secretary, CINTAA, “Due to the pandemic, a lot of our members and actors have relocated to other places, states that are offering subsidies. Hence this collaboration offers an  alternate centre of member relief and also helps cleanse the ecosystem wherein producers, broadcasters and the media and entertainment industry benefit. It is two well-meaning organisations coming together at the right time. The MoU aims to strengthen ties and pave the way for a robust future.”

Ashok Tyagi, Secretary General of ICMEI averred,

“it is a historic MOU which is relating CINTAA, which is an International association of actors with the AAFT University of Media and Arts through International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI). It is the recognition of the fact that acting is not merely a skill but also an academic art. The MOU will give the social recognition to the profession of acting which was long overdue to it.”

Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor, AAFT University of Media and Arts and Founder, Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida, said “We are proud to be associated with CINTAA. I am sure together we will be able to bring in massive changes in creative education and especially in acting. The input from CINTAA members is going to be the most authentic and full of experience. We invite members to visit and see for themselves how we are organised.”

This move will go a long way in benefiting actors from the northern regions as they can now easily reach out to CINTAA.

New Delhi: A panel discussion was organized to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Citizen Journalism during the third session of 10th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2022. Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios initiated the discussion by introducing the definition of Citizen Journalism that it is based upon public citizens “playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing, and disseminating news and information.

Citizen journalism, also known as collaborative media, participatory journalism,  democratic journalism, guerrilla journalismor street journalism explained Komal Nahata renowned journalist from Mumbai.

“Citizen journalism was made more feasible by the development of various online internet platforms. New Media technology, such as social networking and media sharing websites,   in addition to the increasing prevalence of cellular telephones, have made citizen journalism more accessible to people worldwide added K.L.Ganju Consul General of the Republic of Comoros.

Being that Citizen journalism is yet to develop a conceptual framework and guiding principles, it can be heavily opinionated and subjective, making it more supplemental than primary in terms of forming public opinion,” said Ram Prasad Subedi, Charge d’ Affairs, Embassy of Nepal.

Citizen journalism, as a form of alternative media, presents a “radical challenge to the professionalized and institutionalized practices of the mainstream media,” explained Prof. Karl Bardosh of Tisch School of Arts, New York University, USA.

“Social Media platforms such as blogs, You Tube,  and Twitter encourage and facilitate engagement with other citizens who participate in creating content through commenting, liking, linking, and sharing. The majority of the content produced by these amateur news bloggers was not original content, but curated information monitored and edited by these various bloggers,” expressed Ravi Parashar, Senior Journalist.

Few journalists like  S S Dogra, Neetu Singhal, Raju Bohra, Dinesh Gaur, Sonal Goel, Dr. Nisha Bhargava, Shyamli Rathore, Dr. Rabiaah’ Bhatia and  Dr. Kalyani Kabir were also honoured with 2nd Citizen Awards of Marwah Studios.

हम ओवैसी की तरह भड़काऊ भाषण नहीं देते, सभी धर्म के लोगों को साथ लेकर चलते हैं ; राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अफरोज खान ।(एआईएमआईएम) के लीडर अकबरुद्दीन ओवैसी का नाम हमेशा विवादित बयानों से जुड़ा रहा है. एआईएमआईएम सांसद असदुद्दीन ओवैसी के छोटे भाई अकबरुद्दीन ओवैसी के कई भड़काऊ बयान चर्चा में रहे हैं। अकबरुद्दीन ओवैसी पर भड़काऊ भाषण देने का कई बार आरोप लगा और मामला भी दर्ज हुआ है. उनके बयान अक्सर अपनी ही पार्टी को मुश्किल में डालते रहे हैं. एक तरह से इससे इस पार्टी की छवि मुस्लिमों की कट्टर पार्टी की इमेज के रूप में उभरती है । ऐसे में देखा जाए तो संयुक्त विकास पार्टी भी है जिसके राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अफरोज खान हैं, मगर यह पार्टी जाती धर्म की राजनीति नहीं करती यह हर मज़हब को साथ लेकर चलती है। इस पार्टी की विचारधारा बड़ी अलग है जो हर एक हिन्दुतानी को एक और नेक बनने का संदेश देती है। हमसब ही हिंदुस्तानी हैं और किसी पार्टी विशेष या नेताओं के चक्कर मे पड़कर हम आपस मे बंटेंगे नहीं।

एसवीपी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अफरोज खान का कहना है कि अकबरुद्दीन ओवैसी के विवादित बयान से जनता अब ऊब चुकी है। मैं भी मुस्लिम हूँ, और मैं संयुक्त विकास पार्टी का नेशनल प्रेसीडेंट हू, लेकिन हमारी पार्टी किसी एक धर्म के लोगों के लिए नहीं है, यह भारत के हर इंसान के लिए है, यह देश के हर वर्ग, हर मज़हब की पार्टी है इससे हर तरह के लोग जुड़े हुए हैं।

संयुक्त विकास पार्टी की इसी साफ सुथरी इमेज और  सबके संयुक्त विकास की बात को देखते हुए आज मुम्बई के अन्धेरी इलाके में हुई एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में नेशनल अध्यक्ष अफरोज खान की उपस्थिति में देश के सबसे बड़े एस्ट्रोलॉजर और सोशल वर्कर गाना श्रवण स्वामी जी संयुक्त विकास पार्टी में शामिल हो गए हैं।

Noida: “Promoting the safety of journalists and combatting impunity for those who attack them are central elements within UNESCO’s support for press freedom on all media platforms. On average, every five days a journalist is killed for bringing information to the public. Attacks on media professionals are often perpetrated in non-conflict situations by organised crime groups,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre in the webinar titled Journalism and Issues of Security at 10^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2022.

The program started with an exhibition of still photographs   by H.E. Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of   Bosnia and Herzegovina to India who very well explained the pictures clicked by him related to nature. He also gave his point of view on the security for the truthful journalists and the tough face they go through during their service towards journalism.

“Reporting should be more positive and constructive. Manipulating and wrong news can bring confusion and restlessness in the society. Positive news is needed in India today. We are growing country and news should be motivating rather than depressing,” added Jagannath Sarkar Member Parliament.

“Impunity for crimes against the media fuels and perpetuates the cycle of violence and the resulting self-censorship deprives society of information and further affects press freedom. It directly impacts the United Nations’ human rights based efforts to promote peace, security, and sustainable development,” said Renzu Shah Author and Journalist from Kashmir.

“Need not to forget that journalism is a daring profession, you have to learn to face and deal with situations,” said Prof. K.G. Suresh Vice Chancellor MCNUJ. He suggested the need of social security Scheme in India for the journalists to raise the level of confidence.

Suresh Chavhanke spoke about the international threats and international security which is related to journalism giving his own example. Anil Pandey senior journalist emphasized on the security subject because of the change in political, economic and social scenario. He also suggested the requirements of prerequisites to be called journalist.  Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi forum released the poster of this great journalist and Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida spoke about his works and sacrifices. A Cover of book ‘Celestial Bonds’ by  Avinash Pushkarna was also released.

Producer / director Alok shrivastava grieves at the passing of Bappi Lahiri.

He remembers his long association with the legendary singer and composer Bappi Lahiri right from the days of GURU MAHAGURU starring Naseeruddin shah, om puri, ashutosh Rana & Mukul dev.

The film had a unique combination of Naseeruddin shah , om puri and Bappi da.

Recently Bappi da gave the music of my film “miss masala dosa” rwhich is soon going to be released at the silver screen.

He will forever be remembered by the people across generations expressing his emotions beautifully through his songs. May his soul RIP.

Over the years, Habib has done several TV shows including CID, Madhubala…Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Shh..Phir Koi Hai, Yes Boss, Star One Horror Nights, Jeet etc. Recently, he also started doing web series as well and has completed two so far – Detective Ragini 2, Crime and Justice.

Quite a prominent face on the TV, Habib has been a guest in many TV reality shows including the famous Khulja Sim Sim and of course the much-admired Dus Ka Dum where he shook his leg with none other than Bollywood’s favourite Salman Khan. Interestingly, he has been part of many Bollywood films too like Tango Charlie, Raaz 2 and Boy in Bollywood along with YRF TV’s Seven. Currently, Habib is shooting for Zee TV’s serial ‘Meet’ where he will be seen playing the role of an anchor for Valentine’s special episode.

The talented actor is quite versatile and so have collected several awards in his kitty over the years – the prestigious ITA Award, Dadasaheb Phalke Award,Giants group Award, MCA Award WOW Awards, GB Awards, Iktara NGO Award, Panache Image Awards and Partra award in the field of Acting, Anchoring and as Influencer. Nevertheless, Habib has been in the industry from 1999 where he got his first break in a Britannia ad with none other than India’s favourite, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid!

It’s been 2 years since Habib started ‘The Habib Show’ but in a very short span the brilliant host interviewed 100+ celebrities on his show – from TV stars, to comedians, to Bollywood actors and eminent personalities. The man is nothing but a people’s magnet and now that he is actively participating in the events industry except nothing but fun and blast!
