Speaking at the 59th foundation day parade of the Border Security Force in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah addressed the gathering on Friday. On this occasion, Shah emphasized that, ‘It is the result of the efforts of the Modi government that India will soon be completely free from left-wing extremism.’ The entire nation is aware that left-wing extremism has been a hindrance to India’s development for decades, but no government in independent India has resolved this issue. The menace of left-wing extremism has persisted and expanded over the years.

Since 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been a concerted effort to tackle left-wing extremism. After Amit Shah assumed the role of Union Home Minister in 2019, the Modi-Shah duo has achieved record success in countering left-wing extremism. The establishment of new camps by central paramilitary forces in affected areas and their deployment are priorities in Shah’s strategies. Due to the efforts of the Modi government in the last nine years, there has been a 52% reduction in incidents of violence and a 70% decrease in fatalities related to left-wing extremism.

In 2022 and 2023, Modi’s foresight and Shah’s precise strategies have led to significant successes against left-wing extremism. Priority is given to the establishment of new camps and deployment of central armed police forces in affected areas as part of Shah’s plans. The number of affected districts has reduced from 96 to 45, and police stations have decreased from 495 to 176 in the last nine years.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the adept guidance of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, for the first time in history, polling centers have been established in villages surrounded by jungles, and people have actively participated in voting. Shah’s relentless efforts in the direction of eliminating left-wing extremism and connecting the region with the mainstream development are evident in the record-breaking voter turnouts in remote areas, freeing Jharkhand completely from the grip of Naxalism.

The old fortresses of Naxalism in remote and challenging areas like the Boodha Pahad and Kharbanda in Jharkhand, which were stronghold regions for decades, are now entirely free from the control of Naxals. The hill where Naxalites used to issue their orders through Jan Adalats to the residents of the region is now home to an open school. The CRPF, BSF, and ITBP are prepared to make the final strike against lingering left-wing extremism. Today, in the twilight of left-wing extremism, the battle is at its culmination.

In conclusion, the claim of the Modi-Shah duo, committed to liberating the country from left-wing extremism, is proving to be true. The day is not far when the entire country will be free from left-wing extremism.

भुवनेश्वर, 19 नवंबर: संस्कृतियों की विविधता का जश्न मनाते हुए, KIIT स्टूडेंट एक्टिविटी सेंटर ने 19 नवंबर 2023 को छठ पूजा का आयोजन किया। बिहार में छठ पूजा एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है। लोग सूर्य देव की पूजा करते हैं और व्रत रखते हैं। उत्सव में प्रत्येक दिन संध्या अर्घ्य और प्रातः अर्घ पूजा शामिल होती है।

इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल होकर वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता एवं बार काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया के चेयरमैन मनन कुमार मिश्रा ने जश्न मनाया और छात्रों का उत्साहवर्धन किया। उन्होंने KIIT-DU के छात्रों को इस तरह के अवसर देने के लिए KIIT और KISS के संस्थापक डॉ. अच्युत सामंत को धन्यवाद दिया। साथ ही उन्होंने छात्रों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।

अपने स्वागत भाषण में डॉ. सामंत ने छठ पूजा में उनकी अनुशासित भागीदारी के लिए छात्रों को भी धन्यवाद दिया। अन्य अतिथियों में हिमाचल प्रदेश से अधिवक्ता अमित बैद्य, राजस्थान से अधिवक्ता श्रीमाली और KIIT-DU के अतिरिक्त रजिस्ट्रार डॉ. श्याम सुंदर बेहुरा उपस्थित थे।

एक सुंदर आयोजन में फूलों और रंग की रंगोली ने कार्यक्रम की चमक और उल्लास को बढ़ा दिया था, साथ ही संगीत से पूजा को समर्पित गीत गाए थे। कैंपस 6 में भव्य स्तर पर संध्या अर्घ की पूजा का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर, छात्रों ने प्रातः अर्घ पूजा का आयोजन किया जो सुबह 4 बजे शुरू हुई। समारोह पिछले दिन की तरह ही जारी रहा और उगते सूर्य को अर्घ दिया गया। इसके साथ ही छठ महापर्व सहित व्रत का समापन हो गया.
