The illustrious Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to Indian cinema, unfolded at the renowned CINTAA Auditorium this week. Hosted by the versatile performer, Raju Tank, the event attracted luminaries from the film fraternity, converging to celebrate the art of storytelling through cinema.

Esteemed personalities including Chandrashekhar Pusalkar, grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke, Ronnie Rodrigues of Cinebuster magazine, and MLA Dr. Bharti Lavekar graced the occasion, making it a star-studded affair. AAFT स्कूल ऑफ़ फैशन एंड डिज़ाइन, AAFT स्कूल ऑफ़ इंटीरियर डिज़ाइन और AAFT स्कूल ऑफ़ हॉस्पिटैलिटी एंड टूरिज्म के सहयोग से इंटरनेशनल चैंबर ऑफ़ मीडिया एंड एंटरटेनमेंट इंडस्ट्री द्वारा आयोजित इस फेस्टिवल ने वैश्विक रचनात्मक प्रतिभा की गहराई को प्रदर्शित किया। 72 देशों के प्रतिभागियों की एक प्रभावशाली सूची ने सांस्कृतिक रूप से समृद्ध और विविध अनुभव में योगदान दिया।

इस कार्यक्रम में 200 डिज़ाइनरों ने भाग लिया, जिन्होंने रनवे शो के 90 राउंड में भाग लिया, जिसमें 550 से अधिक परिधान प्रदर्शित किए गए। इसके अतिरिक्त, कॉफी टेबल पुस्तकों, भारतीय सूट और साड़ियों के संग्रह, एक फोटोग्राफी प्रदर्शनी और 100 रचनात्मक फर्नीचर पीस सहित चार प्रदर्शनियाँ भी थीं। पाक कला को भी 9 खाद्य शो के साथ उजागर किया गया, जिसमें 20 देशों के व्यंजनों का प्रतिनिधित्व किया गया, सभी को लगभग तीन महीने की योजना के दौरान 700 पेशेवरों द्वारा तैयार किया गया।

8वें ग्लोबल फैशन एंड डिज़ाइन वीक नोएडा 2024 ने सफलता की नई ऊंचाइयों को छूआ

Noida, India — Setting a new benchmark, the 8th Global Fashion and Design Week hosted in Noida emerged as the largest event of its kind organized by an educational institution on a global scale. Over three days, the festival captivated an international audience with groundbreaking fashion and furniture designs, spearheaded by Festival President Sandeep Marwah, also the head of Marwah Studios.

The event was orchestrated by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry alongside AAFT School of Fashion and Design, AAFT School of Interior Design, and AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, drawing creative talents from 72 nations to partake in a celebration of diverse cultural artistry.

The festival featured a dynamic schedule of 90 runway shows with 200 designers unveiling more than 550 distinct garments. It also included four specialized exhibitions showcasing coffee table books, traditional Indian Suits & Sarees, a Photography Exhibition, and an array of 100 innovative furniture designs. Culinary arts were prominently featured with 9 food exhibitions representing the gastronomy of 20 countries, meticulously prepared by 700 experts over the course of three months. 

Drawing an impressive attendance of 23,000 people, the event was a gathering place for 250 esteemed personalities from the realms of fashion and design, including 20 Ambassadors and High Commissioners, thereby enriching the international appeal. The presence of a marching band from AAFT added a regal ambiance to the proceedings, which were broadcasted by 500 media outlets globally. 

Daily updates were provided by the AAFT School of Journalism, supported by 100 volunteers from AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising, 100 digital media specialists from AAFT School of Digital Marketing, and 100 photographers from AAFT School of Still Photography. 

The event’s success was further highlighted by the applause and commendations from 72 participating countries, celebrating the festival’s ability to integrate and exhibit distinctive cultural attire alongside national flags in a grand runway presentation.

The inaugural session was notably attended by H.E. Dambajavyn Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia, Cdr. K.L. Ganju, Honorary Consul General of Comoros in India, renowned designer Rina Dhaka, and Ruby Yadav, Cultural Head of the BJP Wing. Their presence was supported by the World Peace Development and Research Foundation, promoting a message of love, peace, and unity through art and culture, a core principle of Marwah Studios.

Mumbai.  Dr. Krishna Chouhan, known as the emperor of award functions in Mumbai, organized a grand event of the third season of ‘Miss and Mrs. India and Nari Shakti Samman 2024’ on the occasion of Women’s Day at the Mayor Hall in Andheri West, a famous suburb of the metropolis.  In this award ceremony presented by KCF, those who have done remarkable work of social service and human service were honored.  Along with this, he has given a new direction to the society by excellently displaying his art and personality.

Many celebrities were present in this award ceremony organized by Dr. Krishna Chouhan, among whom the names of musician Dilip Sen, singer Deepa Narayan Jha (wife of Udit Narayan), BN Tiwari, former ACP Sanjay Patil, Bharti Chhabria and actor Ramesh Goyal and Keval Kumar from Media are notable.

The jury members of KCF Miss & Mrs India were Dr Deepa Narayan Jha, Nikki Batra, Dr Dr Bharti Chhabria, Prem Gada and Asanta Naskar Yadav.  The makeup of the models was done by Lata Solanki while the fashion designer was Kusum Gupta.

Krishna Chouhan along with Dilip Sen, ACP Sanjay Patil, Bharti Chhabria, Nikki Batra started the program by lighting the lamp.  Sanjay Patil and Mangesh sang many songs on stage.  The anchor of the program was RJ Jayshree Panwar.  Legendary music director Dilip Sen said that Krishna Chouhan’s courage cannot be praised enough.  He works differently in the world.  My congratulations and best wishes to all the awardees.  Chitra ji also sang a good song.

ACP Sanjay Patil said that the one who respects women is great and Dr. Krishna Chouhan has been doing this great work, many congratulations to him.

Bharti Chhabria said that Krishna Chouhan has been giving Nari Shakti Samman for the last three years.  Through KCF Foundation, he also creates the platform of Miss Mrs. India so that women get a golden opportunity.

Dilip Sen’s wife Reshma Dilip Sen received the first award, after receiving which she thanked Krishna Chouhan. Deepa Narayan Jha expressed gratitude to Krishna Chouhan and said that he respects women and encourages them.  This is his best initiative.  Deepa Narayan was honored by wearing a crown as the brand ambassador and Asanta was also honoured.

Kiara Rawat was declared the winner in the Miss India category.  The first runner up of Miss India was Chitra Devi Jamatia, the second runner up of Miss India was Diya Mandal.

Whereas in the Mrs. India category, Komal Kataria was the winner of Silver Class, Anu Pandit was the winner of Gold Class and Megha Hemdev was the winner of Platinum Class.  Lavina Joseph was the first runner up of Mrs. India.

In all his award ceremonies, along with social workers, businessmen, people associated with the film industry, Dr. Krishna Chouhan also honors many journalists and photographers.
