* Tell Us about your Tremendous Journey?

My journey has been a little weird and challenging. As an engineer (electronics & communication) with an MBA, I got an on-campus placement in an MNC named CBRE, but the entertainment industry was calling me and I always wanted to be into music. So when I came to Mumbai, I first started getting projects as an actor and Tv host and later I could establish myself as a singer.

So initially I used to come on and off to Mumbai and then later settled here.

Though my first break was in the Telugu film industry as a playback singer.

* What are the Challenges of Game-Changing battles?

I was always passionate about the glamour and entertainment industry but my parents had a different opinion about it. Moreover belonging to a medical and army background of a highly educated family, they wanted to keep music as just a hobby. Somewhere deep down within, I was not satisfied and continued my musical training while I was doing my engineering and MBA. It was when I started working I realised that it was high time I will have to choose my career otherwise I won’t be able to do justice to anything. The corporate world is very demanding and I ended up getting no time for my practice and performances.

* Being versatile you are Gifted multilingual and Blessed hows the experience?

I have sung in various languages out of which songs like Payal, Rajaji, Meera, Bitiya Hove Chiraiya, Pub G ki Game, Dil Hoom Hoom, Talash Khud Ki, Gallan Mahi Diya are loved all around.

The experience has been wonderful as all the songs are of different genres which made me do varied experiments with my songs giving me a chance to show my versatility.

* Your journey is Inspiring and A Miracle whats the X . Factor? What are Upcoming Projects?

My immense passion for this industry and my art keeps me going. Another important factor here is my family’s love and support always in thick and thin which keeps my morale high always.

Plus it was a decision made by me when I was so now anyways there is no looking back than to just keep going ahead with the flow successfully.

My upcoming projects include a few pop music videos and also some web series. The scripting has started but the names cannot be revealed now

*  Since you are an inspiration what’s your message to budding Songers and Sparkling Sound Family?

My first and foremost advice to the budding singers is to focus more on the continuous Riyaz. Normally we end up missing on our Riyaz and get more involved in struggling for new projects and networking and by the time we get some opportunity, we are not that ready to deliver the project effectively.

Secondly,  there is no shortcut to any dream, so don’t get misguided and carried away by the limelight of our industry and indulge yourself in any unsuitable activity.

I guess this piece of advice would be enough for now.

The OTT rights of the book sold before the book getting printed is indeed a rare occurrence. The book ‘Ek Thi Sheena Bora’ was treated with the same. Author Sanjay Singh disclosed this interesting information during the book festival ‘Kitaab Utsav’.

The Sheena Bora murder case, which shook the nation in 2015. It seemed as if the whole country was intertwined into the web of perplexity of relationships within one family.

According to the police case, Indrani killed Sheena Bora, her daughter born to her first husband Siddartha Das, with the help of her second husband (divorced) Sanjeev Khanna and her driver because she did not want Sheena Bora, the daughter born from her first husband to marry the progeny Rahul her third husband, Peter Mukerjea’s son. The daughter born to second husband Sanjeev Khanna was adopted by her husband Peter.

Author Sanjay Singh says, “In this case, maternal grandparents had to act as parents to their grandchildren; the children were forced to address their real mother as an elder sister; a super-cop with a brilliant career also underwent humiliation in this case. This case had everything- high society, media mogul, politics, internal tussle of police department, link to national level corruption, web of relationships and most of all there was confusion. I had covered this case and therefore felt it necessary to clear the confusion and explain the entire sequence of events in a simple and systematic manner.”

On completion of 75 years of Hindi’s largest publishing group, Rajkamal started organizing Book Festival ‘Kitaab Utsav’ in different cities of the country. In this episode, many well-known Indian literary figures including Gulzar, Javed Akhtar, Piyush Mishra, Saurabh Shukla participated in the ‘Kitaab Utsav’ organized in Mumbai. Meanwhile, during the discussion, Sanjay told that even when the writing of this book was not yet completed, a well-known production house acquired the rights of the book from him.

Author Sanjay Singh is a well-known investigative journalist and has worked with channels like Zee News, NDTV, Times Now, Network 18, News-X and is credited with busting the multi-thousand crore Telgi fake stamp paper scam which is also the topic and content of the author’s third book. Based on this book, Applause entertainment is coming up with a web-series titled ‘Scam2003: The Telgi which will start streaming soon on Sony Liv OTT. Apart from this, a web-series has been announced last month on the book ‘CIU: Criminals in Uniform’, written in collaboration with Rakesh Trivedi and which was well-known recently published book and a talk of the recently concluded ‘World Book Fair’ in Delhi.

Producer director Deepak Kumar Mishra told that he has made many short films which have a social message. Being Trapped is also one such web series in which the big issue of today’s time has been shown. How some anti-social elements are active in social media these days and are looting people. This series is based on the same topic.

He further said that the gang of fraudsters involved in such incidents is active all over the country. Many boys and girls are engaged in the business of blackmailing. These fraudsters keep their eye on the numbers staying online till late night. By making a video call on WhatsApp or Messenger, the girl does obscene acts and her video is recorded, then they ask for lakhs of rupees.

Deepak Kumar Mishra told that since this matter is personal, many people send money to the blackmailer. That’s why I would like to say that if you do not befriend a stranger, then you can avoid being a victim of cybercrime.

As soon as a video call is received from an unknown number on WhatsApp, cyber criminals start their work of entrapment. Thugs demand money through online by making obscene video of the person in front on WhatsApp. If the money is not given, he threatens to make that objectionable video viral. Many people get trapped in this trap.

Deepak Kumar Mishra says that we have created this web series to spread awareness about such crimes. I want to tell the public that if anyone has become a victim of such fraudsters, do not be afraid, but lodge a complaint in the cyber cell of the police. The police will try to catch that thug.
