Everyone is talented, but dedication to your passion can take you to a new horizon of success. Gargi Duggal embodies determination and is an inspiration for generations to come. An Entrepreneur, IT Professional, and a professionally trained Dancer, Gargi swiftly masters every role.

Born in the small town of Nadiad, Gujarat, Gargi Duggal has always had a passion for dance, even from the young age of two. Her mother inspired her to start dancing and little Gargi passed her first dance exam at the age of five. Following her passion, she, in her later stages of life obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in the very famous classical Indian dance form, Bharatnatyam.

Apart from being a trained dancer, the virtuoso has also received a congratulatory letter from Guinness World of Records for climbing the 12,400 feet Parvati Valley of the Himalaya Ranges at the tender age of five. Her father motivated her to make the grueling trek. But as they say, life is unexpected, and one should be ready to combat all the battles that come along the way. Amidst Gargi’s rise, there was an unfortunate tragedy. At the age of 14 years, she experienced the first of several lifelong battles with medical issues as she experienced a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her right leg. Sadly, she faced a lot of issues in the diagnosis of her injury due to insufficient medical facilities in her small town. Regardless, Gargi carried out her lifelong mantra and rebounded from injury via persistence. In Fact, she won the Miss Gujarat-Miss Talent title in 1997.

Luck favors the brave and so was the case of Gargi Duggal as her determination brought her many big opportunities. She got to perform at the 2002 Commonwealth Games held in Manchester. She also had the privilege to be mentored by renowned Bollywood Art Director Sharmistha Roy and Gargi assisted her in many films like Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Mohabbatein, Fiza, and Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega.

Gargi moved to the US in pursuit of a better life twenty years ago. Despite being a wife, a mother of two, and an IT Professional, she kept mastering her dancing skills. One does not have any option than rather to accept what life throws at them. The unfortunate tragedy struck again. On her vacation, she dislocated her right leg once again. Fortunately, this time she finally had all the medical tools at her disposal to diagnose the issue altogether. She fought back against all the odds and started fullfledged dancing with the Arya Dance Troupe. Her hard work, grit, and determination earned her the Best Dancer at Dance USA Dance Dallas regional competition in April 2018, and in November, she was awarded with the Texas Indian Icon trophy and made it to the top finalists with an all-age open dance category for Gee Vision and Zee TV’s International Indian Icon Season-II.

The virtuoso’s list of achievements and recognition is very long, and making it even longer, she added one more award to her list. In March 2019, she received the “Woman of Substance award from Miss Universe 1994, Sushmita Sen. Believing in taking up new tasks and enjoying different roles, she became a radio jockey with Radio Salaam Namaste and a media professional with Toppick Media. Gargi had the opportunity to interview numerous prominent celebrities like Shaan, Mohit Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh, Indie Route Band, Bollywood designers like Varun Behl, Rohit Verma, and hosted events with Miss World 2017-Manushi Chillar, Meenakshi Seshadri and Shamita Shetty. Further, Gargi decided to venture into entrepreneurship and started her own media house called Gargi Productions. They believe in giving the best to the community and keeping everyone entertained with unique media productions. New Delhi, December 4 – On the occasion of its fourth anniversary, which coincides with the world Disability Day, The Bridge India organised a series of events to mark the occasion yesterday.

These included a Panel Discussion, the Grand Finale of Kaun Banega Social Sector Champion 2021, and felicitation of the Heroes of Humanity. The multiple events were presided over by the Chief Guest Mahavir Sharma, Entrepreneur and an angel investor from Rajasthan.

Introducing the event, Seema Jairath, heading The Bridge India said that the organisation had filled the long-felt need to bridge the gap between the NGOs and the Corporate sector to transform society. She said it its four years it had emerged as a multidisciplinary think-tank in providing advisory support to Civil Societies & Corporates.

The Panel Discussion was particularly relevant as it dealt with issues of participation of persons with disabilities in a world post COVID-19 situation.

The Bridge India in its mission to promote Sustainable Development Goals initiated an innovative way of promoting it by organizing on line quiz Kaun Banega Social Sector Champion 2021

The 3 Winners of the Second edition of Quiz were from Indian Oil Corporation, Mumbai, SAIL, Bhiali and Indian Oil , Haldia who were given gift vouchers of 30K, 20 K 15k. Quiz Deepak Taneja keeping the audience engaged in his style. The event was sponsored by Newgen, Style Mantra , Rang Ragini and Airon.

The purpose of the panel discussion was to dig a little deeper into some of the challenges faced by people with disabilities, and see how collectively it could be mitigated. The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted lives of people living with disabilities in many ways. Some of them were Accessibility, loss of livelihood and many such.

Concluding the fruitful session, the moderator Vikas Kataria from WaterAid India warned that if we society did not accept PWDs as equal stakeholder and beneficiaries of development, we as a country would not achieve the sustainable development (SDG) for all! There is surely a need to creating more awareness towards the needs of PWDs, and even greater to invest on innovative solutions, finding greater participation or mainstreaming in all the spheres of operations and more investments in the friendly infrastructure as well. He said “If we ignore this, we do so at our own peril”.

On this occasion The Bridge India also felicitated Heroes of Humanity who had been short-listed.

For this six Persons with Disabilities from different states who had done incredible work in the field of disability and had now become role models for others were honoured on this occasion on the occasion of World Disability Day.

The real life Heroes selected for this honour were Ragevendra Ratnakar Anavekar ,(Belgaum), Dr. Ritesh Sinha  (Karnal Haryana), Mr. Gunasekaran (Tamilnadu, Chennai) Himanshu Arora (Delhi) ) Priyanka Hasija (Gurgaon) Abdul Wahab  (Assam).

Bhim Singh Hada popularly called Artist of the Maharajas is a reputed artist from Jaipur who has a mastery and skill in creating realistic work in oil and other mediums also. He is a self-taught artist but has been blessed with artistic talent and aesthetic instinct and command over the medium and techniques used for aesthetic adornment of his works with the expected visual effects at the strategic arenas.  He has so far showcased his works in many reputed art galleries at Mumbai, Manama, Jaipur, New Delhi in solo and group art exhibitions and has often received good public response and appreciation from the present art world at various venues and art galleries of national and international reputation.  He has been awarded for his outstanding contribution to visual arts by many reputed art promotional institutions at several venues.

The present series showcases his latest works in oil on canvas in a realistic style that illustrates the true culture, heritage, music and architecture at several historical places in Rajasthan in his own style and technique.  The various works present Amber Palace, Jaipur, good picturesque view observed from Aravali range of mountains, Elephant Ride, Royal processions, various dresses/draperies and ornaments worn by ladies in that region, their emotional mindscapes and social lifestyles, old buildings, forts, various places of historical importance which gives a glimpse of royal heritage and traditions in vivid regions. Not limited to forts and palaces, Hada has painted vivid life of Rajasthan its wildlife, temples at Mandor, folk musicians etc.  He has not only depicted the royal culture of Rajasthan, but also its traditional heritage at strategic arenas in his works which are not only amazing and picturesque but also pleasant and visually mesmerizing.  He has truly presented a realistic kaleidoscope of Rajasthan via various vignettes of art, culture, traditional heritage, music, natural beauty at several places, architectural details of many old buildings, castles and forts of historical relevance and importance using his visual language of expression incorporating apt colour combinations, icons/motifs and several ingredients of thematic significance in proper perspectives of visual arts.

Every Individual perceives and constructs things in his perspective and the desire for expression is a natural part of human culture. An artist projects what he gains through knowledge and experience to build a connection with the beholder. In this process of understanding the painters navigate through inner/outer spaces of experiences to the actualization of the material forms and structure. At first glance of a spectator, while looking into K.K. Gandhi’s painting is a kind of refreshing experience. As his paintings are immersed with the natural landscape, colourful forms, figures, open spaces which provide a sort of soothing to the mind and soul. And invites journey to the spectacular landscape of artists Homeland, which is always gravitating attention of all lovers of arts and beauty.

Mr. Gandhi has completed more than 15 years in the field of art. And he always keeps interaction live with contemporary painters to enhance his understanding of visual language. The realistic style of painting according to the artist is the language of common people and can easily connect. As people are accustomed to looking at physical reality as a powerful tool in imbibing aesthetic pleasure.

Visual narration that painter love to work and express is landscape, the structure of Himalayan mountains, nomadic peoples and past monuments / history of Dogra culture. Working on these subjects Mr.  Gandhi feels much connected to his roots. Himalayan series works are rich in intensity, saturated tones, dark hues and bold strokes express artists’ passionate search for meaning into the subject and object conversation into a visual format.

One of the paintings of the artist titled “Journey Within” wherein Buddhist Monk is shown walking amid mountains without any attention to materialistic thoughts. His focus is on the vast cosmos painted in Violet, grayish tones. The magnificent aura of the space has captured the soul of the saint as if inviting the soul to merge back into his source. The nothingness, the source of all that is seen and articulated in sense-perception and beyond.

मुस्कान शर्मा ने कहा कि सरकार से मेरी यही फरियाद है कि बलात्कारियों को जल्द और सख्त सजा देनी चाहिए वरना ऐसा न हो कि मां अपनी बच्चियों को पैदा होते ही मार दें। मैंने भी इस फ़िल्म में एक गर्भवती महिला का किरदार अदा किया है और वह इस तरह की खबरें अखबार में पढ़कर और टीवी पर देखकर परेशान है कि देश मे लड़कियों के साथ गैंगरेप, बलात्कार, हत्या हो रही है।  एक गर्भवती औरत का किरदार करना काफी चैलेंजिंग रहा।

मुस्कान शर्मा ने आगे कहा कि यह फ़िल्म हमने 24 घन्टे में शूट की लेकिन फ्लोर पर जाने से पहले काफी होम वर्क किया गया था।

मुस्कान के साथी एक्टर रेहान राय ने बताया कि फ़िल्म में मेरा किरदार शार्ट है मगर इम्पैक्टफुल है। इस फ़िल्म का सब्जेक्ट बहुत ही सेंसेटिव है, दर्शक इसको गम्भीरता से लें। मुस्कान के साथ वर्किंग एक्सपीरियंस कमाल का रहा। वह बहुत हार्ड वर्किंग गर्ल हैं। इस फ़िल्म में फरियाद गाना भी बहुत ही बेहतरीन है जो आपको याद रह जाता है।

भोजपुरी की मेगा बजट फिल्मों का निर्माण करने वाली अभय सिन्हा की यशी फिल्म्स लंदन में 12 फिल्में और कुछ एलबम्स शूट करने जा रही है। इन एक दर्जन फिल्मों में इंडस्ट्री के छोटे से लेकर बड़े स्टार धीरे धीरे लंदन की धरती पर जा रहे हैं। और कुछ पहुंच भी गए हैं। यशी फिल्म्स की लिस्ट में पावर स्टार पवन सिंह, प्रदीप पाण्डेय चिन्टू, रितेश पांडेय, अरविंद अकेला कल्लू और काजल राघवानी के साथ कई अन्य कलाकार होंगे। यहां तक यशी फिल्म्स के बैनर तले अंकुश राजा की भी फिल्में हो सकती हैं। लंदन की सरजमीं पर प्रियांशू सिंह के निर्देशन में प्रदीप पांडेय चिंटू और काजल राघवानी की ‘याराना’ बनने वाली है। वही 28 दिसंबर को रिकार्ड मशीन पॉवर स्टार पवन सिंह लंदन के लिए रवाना होंगे। इस समय भोजपुरी फिल्म जगत में पॉवर स्टार का बोलबाला ही नजर आ रहा है। उनके गाए गाने एक के बाद एक हिट होते जा रहे हैं। यही कारण है कि हर कंपनी पवन सिंह के साथ काम करने को तैयार है। पवन सिंह के हालिया रिलीज गाने मिलियन क्लब के साथ यूट्यूब पर ट्रेंड भी कर रहे हैं। बरहाल पवन सिंह 28 को लंदन के लिये उड़ान भरने को तैयार हैं।

लेकिन इन सब के बीच एक चौकाने वाली खबर ये सामने आई हैं कि इस लिस्ट में भोजपुरी सुपरस्टार खेसारी लाल यादव का नाम दूर दूर तक कहीं नहीं है। कही ऐसे तो नहीं है कि हालही में पवन सिंह और खेसारी लाल यादव के बीच हुए विवाद के कारण इस लिस्ट में खेसारी के नाम से दूरी बनाई गई है। अंततः क्या बात हुई कि ख़ेसारी लाल को यशी फिल्म्स की आगामी परियोजनाओं से दूर रखा गया है। इसके अलावा इस लिस्ट में पहले अभिनेता प्रमोद प्रेमी का नाम भी शामिल था, लेकिन ऐसा क्या हुआ कि उनका नाम भी लिस्ट से गायब हो गया है। इस पर जब यशी फिल्म्स से सम्पर्क किया गया तो उन्होंने चुप्पी साध ली।

यशी फिल्म्स के एमडी अभय सिन्हा ने बताया कि इन 12 फिल्मों में पवन सिंह और प्रदीप पाण्डेय चिन्टू की 3, रितेश पांडे और अरविन्द अकेला कल्लू 2 फिल्में होंगी। यशी फिल्म्स के साथ अंकुश राजा की भी फिल्म आने वाली है। इसके अलावा कई अल्बम की शूटिंग भी होगी। इसलिए कई भोजपुरी सिंगर्स भी लंदन जाएंगे। सिंगरों की लिस्ट में भोजपुरी इंडस्ट्री के बवाल सिंगर नीलकमल सिंह और देसी स्टार समर सिंह का नाम सामने आया है।

भोजपुरी सिनेमा के जुबली स्टार दिनेश लाल यादव निरहुआ ने गाय के गोबर से गणेश मूर्ति बनाई है और जल प्रदूषण रोकने का संदेश भी दिया है कि “अगर गाय के गोबर से देवी-देवताओं की मूर्ति बनाकर उनकी पूजा अर्चना की जाय और जब पानी मे विसर्जन किया जाय तो जल प्रदूषित नहीं होगा।”  यह मूर्ति निरहुआ ने फिल्म गोबर धन के निर्माता जयंत घोष को भेंट दिया। दरअसल पिछले 1 महीने से अब तक की सबसे अलग बन रही भोजपुरी फिल्म “गोबर धन” की शूटिंग उत्तर प्रदेश के जिला प्रतापगढ़ के बाँसी गाँव एवं आसपास के क्षेत्रों मे कर रहे हैं। इसी फ़िल्म के सेट पर उन्होंने यह अनोखी और स्पेशल मूर्ति बनाई है। जिसकी चर्चा हर ओर हो रही है। निरहुआ कलाकार हैं, मगर वे मूर्तिकला में भी माहिर हैं। यह उनके फैन्स के लिए भी एक सरप्राइज है।

बता दें कि स्थानीय लोगों में फिल्म “गोबर धन” की शूटिंग को लेकर काफी उत्साह है। गाँव के लोगों से काफी सहयोग भी मिल रहा है। दिनेशलाल यादव निरहुआ इसमें एक ऐसे किरदार को जीवन्त कर रहे हैं जो गाँव का भोला-भाला बेरोजगार नवयुवक है। किन्तु एक समय में ऐसा कुछ कर गुजरता है कि जिला जवार सहित पूरे प्रदेश के लोग भूरि भूरि प्रशंसा करते हैं। फ़िल्म “गोबर धन” में दिनेशलाल यादव निरहुआ और साउथ अभिनेत्री मेघाश्री की जोड़ी दिखाई देंगी। फिल्म के कुशल निर्देशन की बागडोर फिल्म निर्देशक मंजुल ठाकुर संभाल रहे हैं।

नई दिल्ली ।  दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा है कि देश की आजादी की लड़ाई तथा प्रशासनिक ढांचे को सुव्यस्थित बनाने में कायस्थों का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा है  और राष्ट्रहित में अब एक बार फिर राजनीति में कायस्थों को विशेष जिम्मेवारी दी जानी चाहिए ।

श्री केजरीवाल ने आज तालकटोरा स्टेडियम में ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस की ओर से ग्लोबल अध्यक्ष राजीव रंजन प्रसाद की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन का उद्घाटन करते हुए कहा कि राजनीति तथा सत्ता में पद केवल धर्म और जाति के आधार पर नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए बल्कि योग्यता तथा गुणवत्ता को भी समुचित सम्मान देना चाहिए । उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे राष्ट्र में योग्यता और गुणवत्ता के मामले में कायस्थों से तुलना नहीं की जा सकती ।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि देश में जब – जब किसी प्रकार का संकट आया है या लोकतंत्र पर खतरा उत्पन्न हुआ है तो कायस्थों ने बढ़-चढ़कर अपनी भूमिका अदा की है ।उन्होंने सर्वसमाज को आगे बढ़ाने तथा शैक्षणिक – सांस्कृतिक प्रगति में कायस्थों से    अग्रणी भूमिका निभाते रहने की अपील की ।

पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री एवं सांसद रविशंकर प्रसाद ने कहा कि कायस्थ समाज की विशिष्टिताओं को किसी को बताने की जरूरत नहीं है बल्कि उसे भरपूर आदर और सम्मान देने की आवश्यकता है । उन्होंने दुनिया भर में कायस्थों से एकजुट होकर सर्वसमाज के लिए कार्य करने की अपील की ।

इस अवसर पर पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री एवं प्रख्यात अभिनेता शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा ने कहा कि विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन से कायस्थों के एकजुट होने का स्पष्ट संकेत मिलता है और आज जिस प्रकार से यहां देश के विभिन्न राज्यों तथा अन्य देशों से कायस्थों के प्रतिनिधि जुटे हैं उससे पता चलता है कि अब हमारे राजनीतिक अधिकारों एवं हितों को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता ।

कार्यक्रम के आरंभ में आगतों का स्वागत करते हुए ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस के ग्लोबल अध्यक्ष राजीव रंजन प्रसाद ने कहा कि हम विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन के माध्यम से देशभर में बड़ी संख्या में फैले कायस्थ परिवारों को उनके राजनीतिक, आर्थिक शैक्षणिक और व्यावसायिक हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए अपनी बुलंद आवाज को सत्ता तथा  राजनीति के गलियारे तक पहुंचाने के लिए एकजुट हुए हैं ।

उन्होंने कहा कि जो कायस्थ हित की बात करेगा, जो कायस्थ हित का सम्मान करेगा , कायस्थ उसके साथ रहेगा ।

श्री प्रसाद ने कहा कि ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस जीकेसी पूरी दुनिया में कायस्थों का सबसे बड़ा संगठन बनकर उभरा है और देश के लगभग सभी राज्यों समेत 20 से अधिक देशों में इसका गठन हो चुका है । जीकेसी की ओर से शिक्षा , रोजगार, व्यापार, कला- संस्कृति , खेल, कृषि, पर्यावरण आदि के क्षेत्र में कायस्थ युवाओं   तथा महिलाओं  की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए निरन्तर  कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं ।आज यही कारण है कि जीकेसी अपने गठन के केवल 11 महीने के भीतर विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन आयोजित करने में और  सभी राज्यों से बड़ी संख्या में कायस्थों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने में सफल हुआ है ।

ग्लोबल अध्यक्ष राजीव रंजन प्रसाद ने कहा कि कायस्थों के समग्र हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए जीकेसी निरंतर अभियान चलाते रहेगा और उन्हें उनके समुचित हक एवं अधिकार के सशक्तिकरण के लिए काम करेगा ।

पूर्व सांसद संजय निरुपम ने कहा कि कायस्थों का इतने बड़े पैमाने पर महासम्मेलन आयोजित होना यह स्पष्ट करता है कि अब हमारे हितों को कोई नजरअंदाज नहीं करेगा और हम सब संगठित होकर राजनीतिक के अलावा आर्थिक , व्यापारिक एवं शैक्षणिक अधिकारों को लेकर रहेंगे । कार्यक्रम में आप के सांसद संजय सिंह ने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के अलावा देश की प्रगति में कायस्थों की विशिष्ट भूमिका रही है और राष्ट्रहित में इस समाज के लोगों पर अब विशिष्ट जिम्मेवारी सौंपी जानी चाहिए ।

I was born  at Delhi On 16 Sept. where I was brought up & did my graduation from Delhi University. I started my career as a Model. I started with ACC Cement & B.S.N.L. apart from Music Albums TV Serials. I had been fan & admirerer of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan & Kajol with whom, now I am ambitious to work as an artiste. I am optimistic about becoming one of the Top Artistes of Bollywood. I believe in the adage ‘Where there is a will, there is a way’ I am on the right track, right now. One thing, for which I am proud of, is the fact, that I am a self-made-artiste, I have taken no help & no faver from anybody, till date. At present I am only interested in playing lead roles & important roles in multi-starrers. The impotance of the role is created by the artiste who perform it. Only an impotant role cannot make an artiste so impotant. I am sure my confidence will turn into real conviction, I am looking for.

कोलकाता : गोवा के बाद एक बार फिर कोलकाता में विकनेक्टस्टार इवेंट्स एंड एंटरटेनमेंट ने अपना परचम लहरा दिया। कोलकाता के होटल हॉलिडे इन में ग्लोबल फेम अवार्ड 2021 का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवॉर्ड शो में डॉ श्रीदेव शास्त्री मुख्य अतिथि के रुप में उपस्थित रहे ।

साथ ही इस अवॉर्ड शो को चार चांद तब लग गए जब बिपाशा बासु ने इस कार्यक्रम में शिरकत की। बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री बिपाशा बासु मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में यहां उपस्थित हुई और उन्होंने अपने हाथों से 70 से अधिक अवॉर्डी को सम्मानित किया। इस अवॉर्ड शो में उन सभी को सम्मानित करने का प्रयास किया गया जिन्होंने अपने अपने क्षेत्र में कम समय में अपनी पहचान बनाई है ।

Russell Alfaro, who is a responsible citizen and who is currently serving his country. Dr. (h.c.) Alfaro is a kind and generous guy, and his commitment to social work is his most important accomplishment. A few words about this man with a big heart and a lot of compassion: Dr. (h.c.) RUSSELL ALFARO is originally from the Chicago suburb of North Chicago, Illinois. He is a present resident of Graham, Washington, and he is always one step ahead in the field of social service and volunteer work in the community there. In addition to his work in Nigeria and Africa, Dr. (h.c.) Alfaro is now focusing his attention on the Indian subcontinent. During the Corona lockdown, Ramesh Juglan, Bollywood Producer, Director, and Social Worker of Juglan Films, along with the “Walls OF Happiness” organization, provided community assistance.  Ramesh Juglan has received numerous awards both domestically and internationally for his contributions to the community.  Dr. (h.c.) Alfaro President/Founder of the “I CAN” Development Foundation & Lifted Hypnosis & Wellness Center has partnered with Juglan Films to aid people who are struggling in our community, as well as those who are unable to help themselves.

The “Bollywood Producer Director Association” and the “North India Film TV Artist Producer Association” are also among the organizations that Dr. (h.c.) Russell Alfaro belongs to. Thinking about Russell Alfaro, Alfaro’s desire for assisting others stems from his own personal experience with the trauma & homelessness.   Alfaro was thrown away in a garbage bin when he was three months old. Someone heard Alfaro wailing and picked him out. Because of his experiences with child abuse, being homeless at the age of 16, living on the streets of Chicago, and dumpster diving for food in garbage cans, his enthusiasm for supporting others achieve their goals and ambitions has allowed him to heal from his past. He claims that his faith, life experience, military duty, State service for the State of Washington, tools he received from HMI Hypnosis Motivation Institute, and collaboration with Juglan Films have equipped him with the knowledge and skills to inspire others to overcome their obstacles.

Next, we will introduce to you rapper, hip-hop artist, and soul singer Naja Shiri (Amanda Alfaro) began her professional life in obscurity in the northeastern United States. Amanda Nicole Allison was born in 1981 in the city of Tacoma, Washington. The music of Mary J. Blige, Tupac Shakur, Nas and Faith Evans inspired her to have a spiritual awakening, leading her to alter her name to Naja Shiri, which is Arabic for strong song of my soul and means strong song of my soul. With the release of her self-penned debut single “Dat Bomb” in the spring of 2003, she went on to earn regional success in the Southeast. The song got overwhelmingly positive critical reception, and it finally led to her signing a record deal with On The Block Records. Her full-length debut, Too Many Rainy Days, was released in late October of the same year, and was a critical and commercial success.

Let’s fast ahead. Amanda and Dr. (h.c) Alfaro met in 2012 & married in 2013. Their meeting resulted in the creation of the “I CAN” Community Development Foundation, which combines both of their abilities. Amanda Alfaro put her songwriting skills to use to write a theme song for the foundation, which she dubbed “I CAN.” With her musical talents, she was able to complete the project. In collaboration with Bishop Ken Bank of Light House Store House, Fife, Washington, and Deacon Kurt Carter, we began bringing the song’s sound together in the early stages of production. Music Producers Jacob Bellamy and Davies Chirwa of DC Productions/Channel ATV, as well as Amanda Alfaro, who sang her song, came together to create our “I CAN” Theme Song, which will one day be made into a movie.

The online contest culminated in crowning and sashing of two winners at a Gliterati event at The Cult House Pune on 12th December 2021.

Noida:  No,it’s not about basking in the past glory. Continuous achievements are as important, too!

The colourful decoration, massive gates, large posters of film-makers, well-dressed and enthusiastic film-lovers adding spiritual energy to the event, were anxiously waiting for this international extravaganza the 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021, to start in the campus of Marwah Studio, designed by IFTC-International Film and Television Club in association with AAFT and ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

“On the occasion of thirty eventful years of Marwah Studio, we have brough 14th edition of Global Film Festival Noida after a gap of more than a year to propagate our mission of bringing love, peace and unity through art and culture. We are proud of our existence in this part of the world as now we have touched 145 countries, 7000 events, thirty lakh audience under film tourism, representing 60 countries, 7 world records and more than 1000 times honoured by the Global Media and Entertainment Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah, President of the film festival inviting and introducing all the dignitaries on the dais.

“AAFT is the only privileged institution in the country which is on the board of Film Federation of India an apex body of cinema in the country. My association with Global Film Festival goes back to the third edition which is indeed the most vibrant festival of the country,” said T.P. Agarwal, President FFI in his remarks. while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“It is beyond my own expectations; Global Film Festival is the real excitement for film-makers. There is so much to learn in three days. I am so happy to be here,” expressed Daisy Shah, renowned actor famous for her role in Jai Ho, Hate Story and many others. Writer, Producer, and Director of many films Jyant Gilator wished every one associated with the festival all the best and said that the 14th edition in itself speaks about the authenticity of the festival. Not many festivals could survive that long,”.

“Every time I learn something new when I am here at Noida Film City. Every event is well designed and speaks about its specialisation. Global Festival has impressed me every time,” added Hid Excellency Muhamed Cengic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina to India. “Marwah Studios is a magical place. It is the volcano of entertainment. I get spiritual pleasure when I am part of any event of Noida Film City. Festivals are the learning grounds for all of us,” said Cdr. K L Ganju, Hon. Consul Gen, Republic Union of Comoros in India.

“I am convinced when I saw the arrangements, how well defined is the festival though it is my first visit to Noida Film City. I am happy that Indo Fiji Cultural Forum is part of the show,” addressed His Excellency Kamlesh Shashi Prakash, High Commissioner of Fiji to India.

The opening film from Kazakhstan today has given us a bigger and better status in the festival. We are here to give full support to Marwah Studios for the development of relation between two countries,” said His Excellency E Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India. “Only last month we were here for our exclusive festival, as the curtain raiser of 14th Global Film Festival. Now we have very strong relationship with Marwah Studios,” said His Excellency E Asein Isaev, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan.

“This is what is required to promote cinema, relationship, and learning through soft power. India is above many countries. This festival teaches you a lot. Soon Indo-Belarus Film and Cultural Forum is to be launched,” informed His Excellency E Andrey Rzheussky, Ambassador of Belarus to India.”

“It is difficult now to get this kind of marvellous environment in any festival of the world. I wish all the success to the organisers,” said His Excellency Lucmon Bobokalazoda Ambassador of Tajikistan to India.

“I am well-travelled and seen best of the festivals of the forld but no festival is as energetic as Global Film Festival Noida. Every time I find unique activities at the festival. Marwah Studios is the pride of India,” said Supran Sen, Secretary General of Film Federation of India.

Kashmir based actor Mir Arslaan is a new Face for Bollywood who came into the limelight from the recently Released Web series Cyanide on Famous Platform, Mir Arslan a young actor Student of 10th Standard has done it marvellously. Role of Young Serial Killer Mohan who initially get head knocked in a wrong relationship later on the revenge full attitude drags him to be a killer of girls giving them Cyanide. Well, Mir Arslaan is Kashmir based Actor who is theatre associated besides has a focus to be an IPS which is itself a pompous goal. While we had a telephonic conversation with Mir Arslaan and here is what he says,

“I want to grow more with experience doing different types of films and web series, my first role was not easy came with a lot of challenges, I thank Director Rahat Kazmi for this and trusting my work. I had no option to make it more reliable and perfect as per character demand.

The camera makes you perfect slowly and this is what I believe that technique gets built with experience and so my motive is to do different types of roles, I m these days focusing on my acting skills and also education that I won’t always part and parcel, I don’t want to compromise in my education because as an artist you need to be disciplined and education, the knowledge of art and culture can make you more perfect. Kashmir nowadays is facing the Challenge of Drugs and the youth involved in it makes my heart bleed for them I want the youth of Kashmir to grow more in any talent they have and don’t get involved in Drugs.

We can make shine our family with our success. I’m inspired by Mir Sarwar, Raja Sarfaraz, Tariq khan, Hussain khan all are Kashmir based actors but their journey is inspiring. I’m getting offers of a new project and will shortly sign a good project.”

Exhibition of world class artists will run till December 13 in Jehangir Art Gallery

To commemorate the Amrit Mahotsav of India’s independence, the “Second International Print Biennial India” has been organized by Lalit Kala Akademi at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai till December 13, 2021, in which 149 works of artists from India and abroad have been displayed.

Out of these hundreds of paintings, 5 artworks were selected for the award by the jury members and five artists were awarded by Chief Guest, Maharashtra Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Guest of Honor Gopal Shetty, Lok Sabha MP and Lalit Kala Akademi Chairman Dr. Uttam Pacharne. was awarded. Professor Jaiprakash Jagtap was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The grand program started with the national anthem at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. A 1-minute silence was observed here to pay tribute to the country’s first CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 other army officers who died in a helicopter crash.

To commemorate the birth centenary year of artist Somnath Hor, a book written on his biography was released.

After that, the Chairman of Lalit Kala Akademi, Dr. Uttam Pacharne, while addressing all the people here said that congratulations to all the winning artists. For more than 60 years, Lalit Kala Akademi has been striving for the promotion of arts and artists through its art programs, activities and schemes. The International Print Biennial is one such effort, through which national and international level printing artists are provided a platform for performing arts. Chhapakala is famous all over the world. This genre has its own importance in the country and abroad, so through the organization of this biennial, the Akademi has been providing an international platform to the artists of Chhapakala. Right now this exhibition is till 13th December, art lovers should buy these paintings and encourage the artists because till these paintings are not sold then how will the livelihood of the artists work. Understanding their pain, we have given 5 awards of 2 lakhs today.

Here 5 painters were awarded a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh each by the jury. All the winners were awarded with certificates, shawls and trophies at the hands of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. The names of those 5 lucky painters are Jagdishwar Rao, Chandrashekhar Vasantrao Waghmare, Durgadas Garai, Sushma Yadav, Mohammad Fakhrul Islam Majumdar. Apart from these, 12 more painters were awarded the honour.

MP Gopal Shetty said here that it was a pleasure to come to such a program. thanks all. If we want to advance art, then we have to increase the courage of the artists. The program organized by Uttam Pacharne ji to give prize money to the artists is indeed a compliment. My best wishes to all the award winning painters.

Maharashtra Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that fine art is a big thing. To understand art, it is necessary to have art within yourself. There is some art in all of us. Gopal Shetty is a politician, it is also an art. The artist creates something after a lot of penance. I would tell the artists to come and put their soul in the field of art.
